Blogging was initially limited only to journalist and diarist who liked to keep an account of their day to day life. In 1998 when open diary was launched it received a lot of appreciation, open diary was interactive which allowed visitors or readers to comment on the posts. The following year, DiaryLand, LiveJournal and Bloggers.com (bloggers was purchased by Google in 2003) was launched. Blogging sites now offer a very user friendly interface to the users, it is very easy to create a blog and people of all age groups can easily blog without much of assistance.

OK, what am I really saying? I am saying that content is KING. Good quality content, is good quality KING. Bad quality content is bad king, ready to be ousted and beheaded soon. That's what your traffic will do to you, much traffic or not, if your content is no good. The first time they may forgive you, but subsequently, if you expect your traffic to keep biting your stale bait, they might turn up again. Your job as a blogger and marketer? To provide top-notch value in services and information FOR them to make informed decisions.
